My Third Skin
My Third Skin is a book of short stories and poems produced by different students and faculty from the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). The literature is accompanied by artworks from different artists.
I provided the design and layout for this book and artwork for one of the stories.
My job was designing the content and preparing the 200+ page book with stories and illustrations and getting in print-ready. The book has since been published and is available for purchase.
This was a huge project that came together over the course of a few months. We worked with a diverse team of young creatives from all over the world to bring everything together.
Here are some parts of My Third Skin that I am able to show you. Some fragments of the book and the complete story “Steps” by Michael Harris Cohen, for which I provided the illustrations. The other illustrations that you see here were provided by various other artists.
Constructing a 198-page book in Adobe Indesign complete with illustrations was a time-consuming challenge that has taught me a lot about Adobe Indesign and the other challenges that come with designing and printing a book from scratch.

Illustrations I provided for the book. Steps is a dark tale that tells the story of a man that quits everything that brings him joy and slowly stops caring and then fades from this world.
